Broken Spoke's Vidal Blanc won a double gold at the 2017 Maryland Comptroller’s Cup Wine Competition. The competition, judged by industry peers in a blind tasting, was held in Timonium on May 31, 2017. See press release here.

The awards ceremony was held July 28th at Woodberry Kitchen in Baltimore. Comptroller Peter Franchot presented awards to the category winners along with wine critic host Al Spoler. Also on hand was Maryland Wineries President Judy Crow who expressed her appreciation for the Comptrollers support of Maryland wines.
